Cafe Appliances | Movement of Design Systems
The Task
Re-design Cafe Appliances’ website to be cleaner and more modern, and create brand elements. Their previous website, built with Styla, needed to be moved to Shogun.
Inspiration + Process
We were inspired by the clean and colorful fashion forward expression of the brand. We took the functionality that was created within Styla and converted them into clean and minimalistic cards. Since Cafe had minimal brand guidelines, we had room to refresh that as well. We used pops of color from the branding paired with beautiful imagery, to provide a more organized shopping expereince. We applied this across their entire website.
Timeline
We had 2 months to fully move the website from Styla to Shogun with the redesign, working in Sprints to complete the task.
Finished Designs
After UI & Website Discovery, I moved on to building the high-fidelity prototype in Shogun. I used existing brand guidelines for the cards, typography, colors, and buttons. Here are the final designs.
